Bone-Dry Carpet Cleaning FAQ

Here you can find some frequently asked questions about our services.

Is it really dry?

Yes it is. You can use the cleaned carpet straight away. No drying time needed!

Do you quote over the phone?

No professional carpet cleaner should quote on the phone. How do we know the level of soiling? Are the stains set or non-set? What type of fibre is your carpet made from? How much furniture is there to move?

Do you charge by the room?

We charge by square foot. This means you only get charged for the cleanable area; for instance most carpet cleaners' measure wall to wall, but what if you have a big fireplace? Or furniture you don't want moving? We take these areas out of the measurements, hence you only get charged for the cleanable area.

Are you insured?

Yes, all operators are covered with 2 million pounds insurance.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we give you a 100% money back guarantee! If you are not happy, we will re-clean for free and if you are still not happy with the results we will refund your money. The reason we can give you such an iron clad guarantee is down to the fact we don't quote on the phone. We come to visit you and assess all the areas to be cleaned. If we think there may be a problem area, we will tell you.

Does your system remove stains?

We can remove most stains but there is a difference between a set stain and a non-set stain. A set stain is just that, set into the fibre and no cleaning system can remove it. On a non-set stain we will always use solvent and detergent free products to remove them, but now and again we may have to use a different product to get the desired result. All spots and stains are tested at the quote stage so you will be told if they are not removable.

How often should I clean my carpets?

It depends on a number of factors. How many people live in the house? Do you have children? Are there pets? Are there smokers? Every household is different. All of these things are taken into account at the quote stage and you will receive a 'Healthy Home Report' completely free of charge.

Is Bone-Dry Dry Organic Cleaning better than wet cleaning?

I am bound to say yes, but to be fair there are some good wet cleanings operating in the country, however, they are few and far between. Every professional 'wet' cleaner will admit only a few good operators are professionally trained. A bad operator can leave you with all sorts of problems like shrinkage, seam splitting, bad odours, wick back etc... Take the hassle out of carpet cleaning and have your soft-furnishing cleaned by Bone-Dry. If you had an expensive wool jumper or cardigan would you put it into a washing machine on a hot wash?
